Thanks to the so-called “Push” notification. In a nut shell it delivers a message (binary format SMS) right to my iPhone 3G. This invisible binary SMS tells how the phone would take further actions such as retrieving email. พอรู้แบบนี้ผมก็ได้ solution ทันที

Email Push

อันแรกผมต้องการให้ Gmail email ถูกส่งเข้า iPhone แบบทันที ไม่ต้องเปิด app ใดๆ First thing first:

พระเอกของเราก็คือ MobileMe (Free trial for 60 days with credit card sign up process and around 3000 baht a year subscription fee) ที่สามารถ Push email เข้าเครื่องเราได้ ซี่งขั้นตอนสมัคร เราก็ต้องใส่เบอร์โทรศัพท์ของเรา Yes. MobileMe works and needs my phone number to push email notification to my phone. Albeit this function MobileMe also is a sync server that keeps all your contacts and calendar in sync with MobileMe server but I don’t need that with Apple. I will set it up with a better service from Google called Google Sync. I will show you how later.

Now at Gmail settings, simply forward all of your mail to yourname@me.com. In your iPhone you can easily set up an MobileMe email account by clicking the big-ass button and you are ready to go. Social Networking

If you are on Facebook you have to get Facebook app from App Store. It is a technological destiny that you must install this app. How destined it is?? Let’s say if I shake my iPhone 3G Facebook app will updates all the pages. ‘Nough said.

Now my favorite Web App of all time. Twitter. Made available on iPhone with TwitterFon I so enjoy it with bunches of functions comes with TwitterFon. The pitch is it is location-aware. Update your GPS location to Twitter location. Not to mention it can Reply, Send a Direct Message and Retweet out of the app, see people timeline. เจ๋งสุดคือสามารถ search ได้ว่าคนที่ tweet ที่อยู่ใกล้ตัวเราอยู่ที่ไหนบ้าง แล้วก็ search trend which will give you the most interesting topic people are talking about at the moment. Talk to the cloud !!

The next best thing is Twitter allows me to forward a Direct Message to me to an email. Which I chose MobileMe. Yes, now every Twitter DM will land right on my iPhone almost immediately and beep-beep me just like an SMS alert. Love it.

Multimedia

Now the popular Cooliris software addin in Firefox and Apple Safari is debut on iPhone. Why wouldn’t anyone get it?? ข้อดีคือ seach รูป กับวีดีโอได้ and the presentation is vividly awesome. You can save a picture to Camera Roll on iPhone and use it as a wallpaper later on that makes this app perfect for me.
